The JMB Foundation seeks to empower women in Africa

Work Opportunities - Through the LIFTE Project the JMB Foundation is creating markets for women seeking to work and support their children. We are not a charity. Our long term goal is to bridge the women and their craft with global markets and help them to become a self sustaining industry. 

 Education - The JMB Foundation for Women raises funding from donors to support young women attending university and trade schools. The Foundation seeks to provide scholarships for young women with a desire to develop their skills, learn a new trade or pursue higher education to enrich their lives. 

The 10th annual JMB Benefit concert is December 10th 2022. Please Join US!

The LIFTE Project

LIFTE creates markets for products being produced by the women of Africa. Many of these women are widows without the resources to support themselves or their children. LIFTE works with partner groups that train and provide these women with work. Products are then sold on our website. So shop LIFTE and support these hardworking women!

JMB for Education

By providing young women with scholarship support in Kenya and Tanzania, JMB assists them in breaking the cycle of poverty. Women with marketable skills have a brighter future and also enrich their communities. Empowering these young women and encouraging them to pass that forward and empower others, is our mission. Support for scholarship is raised annually through our benefit concert.
